Glassdoor has policies in place to address fake or fraudulent reviews. While I don’t have access to the specific guidelines and practices implemented by Glassdoor after my September 2021 knowledge cutoff, they generally have measures to detect and address fake reviews. If a review is found to be in violation of their guidelines, including being fraudulent or fabricated, Glassdoor may take action to remove it.

To help ensure the authenticity of reviews, Glassdoor encourages individuals to share their genuine experiences and prohibits the posting of false or misleading content. They have systems in place to detect suspicious or fake reviews and rely on user feedback to identify potential violations. Additionally, Glassdoor may conduct internal investigations or request additional information from reviewers to verify the authenticity of their claims.

If you come across a review on Glassdoor that you believe to be fake or fraudulent, you can report it to Glassdoor for review. They will assess the reported review and take appropriate action if it is found to violate their policies.

It’s important to note that the process of reviewing and removing fake reviews can take time, as Glassdoor needs to thoroughly evaluate each case. They strive to maintain the integrity of the platform and provide a trustworthy source of information for job seekers and employees.
