What Is a Glassdoor Review?

A Glassdoor review is a detailed account of an individual’s experience with a company or organization. It often includes their overall rating, job title, salary, benefits, work environment and culture, management style, career growth opportunities, and more. Reviews can be written by current and former employees as well as applicants to the company. Glassdoor reviews provide valuable insight into what it’s like to work for a particular employer and are often seen as more reliable than anonymous internet comments because they are written by real people with first-hand experience.

Posting Guidelines

Glassdoor reviews are an important tool for job seekers and employers alike, so it’s important to keep the platform safe and secure by following specific posting guidelines. All reviews must be written in English, must not contain any profane or obscene language, must not include any personal information (such as a person’s name or address), and must be based on a real-life experience with the company. Reviews must also be relevant to the company being reviewed and should provide meaningful feedback that other job security seekers can benefit from.
